Accessibility Statement
Last updated September 29, 2026.
This statement is informational. It is not part of the Hoopers Terms of Service.
Our goal
We want everyone who plays basketball to be able to use Hoopers. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
This statement covers the Hoopers website and web app at https://www.hoopersapp.com, and any Hoopers mobile app for iOS or Android once it is available.
Where we are today
Accessibility work on Hoopers is ongoing. We do not claim that Hoopers fully meets WCAG 2.2 Level AA, and Hoopers has not been certified by an outside organization.
What we do today:
- Hoopers does not block pinch zoom or browser zoom, and its pages are built to reflow on small screens.
- Hoopers respects the reduced-motion setting on your device.
- Controls are built to work with a keyboard and to show a visible focus indicator.
- Automated accessibility checks run on every proposed change to the web app.
Our most recent recorded manual review of the web app was completed on August 22, 2026. It covered zoom and reflow, keyboard-only use, focus visibility, pinch zoom, reduced motion, and basic use with the Windows Narrator screen reader. Hoopers has changed since then, and screens added or redesigned after that date have not yet had a recorded manual review.
Known limitations
- Low-contrast borders. At our last recorded review, some form fields and cards had borders with less contrast than WCAG 2.2 AA asks for (success criterion 1.4.11, non-text contrast).
- Not yet tested. Our recorded review did not cover the hCaptcha challenge used at sign-up, sign-in and password reset; screen readers other than Windows Narrator, including VoiceOver, TalkBack and NVDA; high-contrast or forced-colors modes; voice control; or switch access.
- Newer screens. Screens added or changed since August 22, 2026 have not had a recorded manual review.
If a sign-up or sign-in check blocks you. Hoopers uses hCaptcha to tell people from automated programs. If you cannot complete it, please email us at the address below so we can look into it with you.
Tell us about a barrier
If something in Hoopers is hard or impossible for you to use, or you need information in a different format, please tell us.
- Email: support@hoopersapp.com, with "Accessibility" in the subject line.
- Mail: iCatch Labs LLC, 418 Broadway, STE 7369, Albany, NY 12207, United States.
Please tell us the page or feature, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser and any assistive technology you use. We review accessibility messages and respond as soon as we can.
Updates to this statement
We will update this statement when we complete a new recorded accessibility review or make significant changes to Hoopers.
