Support
Hoopers is made by iCatch Labs LLC. For help with your account, games, results or anything else, email support@hoopersapp.com. Tell us your username if you have one, and send it from the email address on your account if you can.
Delete your Hoopers account
On the Hoopers website. Sign in, open Settings, and choose Request account deletion. If your account is suspended or terminated, sign in and use the deletion option on the page that shows the restriction.
In the Hoopers app. Open Settings and choose Request account deletion. If your account is suspended or terminated, use the deletion option on the screen that shows the restriction.
By email, without signing in. Email support@hoopersapp.com from the email address on your account, with “Delete my Hoopers account” in the subject line. Include your username if you know it. We check that the request comes from the account holder, and we may reply to that address to confirm. Then we start the same deletion process and tell you it has started.
What happens next:
- You have 7 days to cancel. After that, the deletion is completed.
- Your profile is de-identified: your display name becomes “Deleted player,” your username is released, and your date of birth is removed.
- Your friendships, requests and notifications are deleted, and your Hoopers sign-in is ended, so your email, password, Apple or Google sign-in no longer opens the account.
- Game results stay in other players’ records in de-identified form. Some safety, integrity and legal records are kept, as the Privacy Policy explains.
- Deleting an account does not lift a suspension or termination, or cancel a Competitive Integrity finding.
If you use Sign in with Apple
When you request deletion in the Hoopers app on iPhone, the app asks you to confirm with Apple, then disconnects Hoopers from your Apple ID. If that does not work, the app tells you.
Deleting on the website, by email, or in the Android app does not disconnect your Apple ID. To disconnect Hoopers from your Apple ID yourself, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then tap Sign in with Apple. Choose Hoopers and stop using Sign in with Apple for it. You can also do this at account.apple.com.
If you cancel the deletion after Hoopers was disconnected, Apple will ask you to allow Hoopers again when you next sign in with Apple.
Privacy requests
To ask for a copy of your information, to correct it (for example, your date of birth), or to delete it, email support@hoopersapp.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line and tell us what you want. We confirm that the request comes from the account holder, usually by matching it to the email address on the account. An authorized agent can make a request where your state allows it, and we may ask for proof that the agent is authorized. The Privacy Policy describes your rights and how to appeal a decision.
Parents and guardians
If you are the parent or legal guardian of a Teen Account holder, email support@hoopersapp.com with questions or concerns, or to withdraw your permission. Hoopers is not for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, email us the address the account uses.
